Starmount’s Sterlin Holbrook was named a 2021 All Conference Back

The Mountain Valley Athletic Conference has released its All Conference and Honorable Mention selections for the 2021 football season. Elkin’s Boone Beaver was awarded one of the MVAC’s top honors as he was named co-defensive player of the year. Beaver averaged 12 tackles per game, with an average of six tackles for a loss of yards. This season, Ashe County was crowned the MVAC champions for the third year in a row. Ashe County also took home the co-defensive player of the year and the coach of the year. Elkin, East Wilkes, and Starmount all had players awarded either All Conference or Honorable Mention.
