Announcing PogChamps 4 Presented By Coinbase

It’s back! PogChamps 4 presented by Coinbase begins on August 29, 2021. The latest edition of the breakout series returns for what will surely be the biggest, best, and brightest PogChamps yet! $100,000 is up for grabs in the prize fund and Chess.com will match up to another $100,000 in community donations to the charity Rise Above the Disorder (RAD), dedicated to making mental health care more accessible and affordable.

Back in February 2021, PogChamps 3 shattered records after peaking at more than 140,000 concurrent viewers and 16,000,000 total views throughout the event—and that’s on Twitch alone. These mind-blowing figures are only an indication of what’s in store for PogChamps 4.

PogChamps veteran Ludwig returns for another chance at PogChamps glory. The content creator heavyweight and record holder for the most subscribed-to streamer on Twitch is one of many reasons for spectators to look forward to the event.

MrBeast, whose extraordinary ability to consistently create massively viral content is another of the event’s prominent attractions. With more than 63,000,000 YouTube subscribers and 11 billion views, MrBeast is sure to bring the heat of his fans to whoever stands in his way.

The two stars have already played in PogChamps 3. Ludwig emerged as the winner, but MrBeast wasn’t ready to call it quits. After promising revenge in front of tens of thousands of viewers, will he get a rematch?

Also returning to the fold is Spanish streaming sensation Rubius, with nearly 10 million Twitch followers, the third-most in the entire world. He also boasts 40 million YouTube followers. Accompanying Rubius is another top Spanish streamer, IAmCristinini, with 2.3 million Twitch followers. She is the most followed of any Spanish-speaking female streamer and #8 overall in Spanish content.

Sapnap, who played in the record-breaking event BlockChamps, also joins for his inaugural PogChamps run, backed by his more than 2.5 million Twitch fans, and with the current field being rounded out by ConnorEatsPants, many more participants to be announced!

The participants are not the only high point of the event. All of Chess.com’s top hosts and commentators will once again return to call the action, led by star sisters WFM Alexandra Botez and Andrea Botez, with their more than 850,000 followers on Twitch at BotezLive
