One of crypto’s top decentralized exchanges said on Sunday that it had been “exploited” as a result of a vulnerability in a programming language used in parts of its platform.

A glitch in a particular version of Vyper, a programming language similar to Python and widely used in DeFi applications, led to an exploit targeting a “malfunctioning reentrancy lock,” Curve said in a tweet from their official account.
