Ondo Finance, the leading DeFi protocol for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), and Aptos Foundation, a decentralized finance platform built by ex-Meta engineers, have come together to address the issue of the gap between the traditional finance and DeFi ecosystems. The advised strategic collaboration is designed to tap into the potential of creating inventive financial services that will reap the benefits of a synergy between the assets in the real world and crypto ecosystem.

This first stage creates a platform for a variety of financial products to be developed by the company taking advantage of its existing strengths. Ondo takes that one step further by including its competencies in RWAs and existing networks to traditional financial institutions like Blackrock, whereas Aptos can take it even further by having a trustworthy and scalable blockchain platform specifically designed for financial applications with the Move programming language.
The synergy of these two executes the possibility of discovering novel intricate techniques that have the capability to integrate the physical world add-ons to the blockchain. The partnership is also collaborating with Thala which is a DeFi protocol on Aptos and therefore, will massively increase the use of the USDY within the DeFi sphere. USDY tokens will be recordable within Thala’s automatically rebalanced liquidity pools and act as collateral to secure loans, and hence expanding lending options for the users and at the same time, predictability of DeFi activities.
This partnership brings a major change in the process of tying the two together in the recent past interchanging between Defi and traditional finance. All this will be achieved through the combination of the traditional finance reliable with the Aptos and Ondo blockchain technology efficiency and accessibility, that is aimed at creating a more accessible and efficient financial future for all.
