X Force Global claims that XRP is one of the few crypto assets displaying “strong macro bullish price action”. He reveals that it is still in the early stages of a breakout from a six-year triangle, which already saw its price rally by 6x late last year.
Elliot Wave counts suggest that the asset is now in the early stages of a 5th impulsive bullish wave, which is marked by a rush of buying. Using EW analysis, X Force Global’s XRP price prediction gives a macro target of $50 in the coming years.
XRP’s Elliot Wave Counts, Explained
The Elliott Wave Theory is a popular technical analysis tool used to predict price movements in financial markets. The core concept is that market movements follow a pattern of five waves in the direction of the prevailing trend, followed by three corrective waves.
An asset could be at different EW counts in different timeframes.
As previously stated, XRP is currently in its 5th impulsive bullish wave in the higher timeframes. X Force Global’s prediction chart indicates that the XRP price could rally to $50 in the coming years by the end of this wave.
At this price point, it would have a market capitalization of $2.6 trillion, higher than Bitcoin’s all-time high valuation. This would likely require XRP to replace Swift as the go-to medium for cross-border payments.
At a more micro level, XRP is in the second corrective wave, which explains the recent pullback in its price. Corrective waves can be further broken down into three sub-waves, often labelled as A-B-C.
X Force Global’s XRP price prediction chart indicates that the asset is nearing the end of its downside ‘A’ move. If accurate, XRP could be one of the best cryptos to buy right now, considering that the ‘B’ relief rally to $3.50 is next.
After a further pullback, the asset will then enter the third impulsive move to $20 and eventually, the 5th impulsive wave to $50.
