Police are investigating a shooting involving law enforcement in Broad Ripple.
IMPD Officer Genae Cook told IndyStar shots were fired by a deputy with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. She said no police officers were injured, but did not immediately have additional details.
The incident took place about 5:30 p.m. Saturday near the 6300 block of Westfield Boulevard, she said.
A man was taken to an area hospital in serious but stable condition. No deputies were injured in the incident. IMPD Lt. Shane Foley said at the scene there is no threat to the public.
